Meet Your Team

Jim Kerin

CWCA, MWCA, Master WorkComp Advisor

James Kerin began his career in 1972 working in the carrier side of the insurance industry. For 5 years James worked in the sales and underwriting departments of Royal Insurance and for 4 years in sales management for CNA. In 1981 James earned his first designation, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and over the course of 30 years has racked up other such distinctions such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA), and Professional Workers Compensation Advisor (PWCA). In 1983 James accepted a position in sales with an independent insurance agency which allowed him to use his knowledge and expertise in a more consultative capacity. In 1996 James joined the Millennium Alliance Group, LLC where he continues his consultative approach in addition to his role as a managing partner.

Outside of insurance James has a B.A. in Political Science and History, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Hofstra University. His interests and activities include the movies of Bogart, Cagney, and Flynn, fitness training, the martial arts, and boating. In addition, James is an avid Yankees and Jets fan.

Teresa Long

Master WorkComp Advisor

Teresa’s experience includes 14 years as Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager for Walt Disney World and most recently Vice President of Risk Management for Sarasota, FL-based Unisource Administrators, Inc., managing general agent and third party administrator, where she was responsible for client services for all professional employee organizations, large deductible and self-insured clients and product development. She was also vice president of Sarasota International Risk & Insurance Services (SIRIS, a third party claim administrator for self-insured and large deductible clients), a subsidiary of RISCORP, a Florida domiciled insurance company.

Teresa was also instrumental in the founding of the Association of Workers’ Compensations Claims Professionals (WCCP) and a Board Member and regular speaker for the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute for over 20 years.
